The Caps take on the Panthers on Saturday and Sunday this weekend, both with a 6pm Face Off. For the Panthers this is a chance to sharpen up as they head towards the play offs, for the Capitals it remains mathematically possible to qualify for the play offs, but it really is all or nothing this weekend.

The Capitals need to win all of their remaining 4 fixtures, 3 in regulation, and look for results to go our way in other fixtures.

This weekend we welcome the Nottingham Panthers to Murrayfield for the first time this season on Saturday...then 24 hours later we play them for the second and final time at home. Double HOME fixtures normally means a good away crowd, and we expect a loud and loyal Panthers fan base to travel North this weekend - all adding up to a great atmosphere!

For Capitals fans this weekend see's two of our final three home fixtures  (the final HOME game is next weekend, Sunday 26th, 6pm - Braehead Clan)

The season series is tied 1-1 between the clubs - the Capitals won 4-2 in Nottingham in the first match up earlier in the season, with Panthers winning at home in the second (again 4-2).

It's a case of SCHULTZ vs SCHULTZ this weekend...Panthers top scorer is Stephen Schultz with 12 goals and 25 assists for 37 points to date. Capitals top GOAL scorer is of course IAN Schultz with 18 goals!

Other Panther players to look out for in terms of scoring - Brad Moran with 36 points this season, and 6ft 4" Chris Lawrence, with 34 points in 35 games.

It's the penultimate league weekend of the season, there's only 3 HOME CAPITALS games left, get your tickets now and come and support the team this weekend as it takes on the Panthers!
