League Structure

Ten teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland currently compete in the Elite League.

The League is split into two Conferences: the Erhardt Conference and the Gardiner Conference.

Each side plays teams in their own Conference eight times and face sides in the other Conference four times over a total of 52 games.

The top 8 teams qualify for the end of season playoffs with conference winners seeded 1st and 2nd irrespective of their positions in the overall League.

1st seed then plays 8th seed, 2nd plays 7th and sew on over 2 legs, with the winners progressing to the end of season playoffs.
