Murrayfield Ice Arena and the Edinburgh Capitals would like to announce an exciting new offer for the upcoming season. Beginning after our first Saturday night home game, on the 12th of November against Whitley Warriors, kids under 18 will be able to take to the ice for skating from the minute the teams leave the ice (this is not a public event and is only available to people who attend the game). If you have attended the game, this will be free of charge – skate hire will cost £3.
The offer will be available after every Saturday home game through the season and there will also be the opportunity to meet some players on the ice. The kids will be allowed to skate on the ice until 10.00pm when the session will end.
All our Saturday home games will Face Off at 6.30pm unless otherwise stated.
Here at the Murrayfield Ice Arena and Edinburgh Capitals, we like to promote hockey as a family sport and we feel the kids can hopefully become hockey or figure skating stars of the future.
So why not make a night of it, come along to watch the Capitals at Murrayfield Ice Arena then the kids can take to the ice for free for some extra fun!
