Rob has followed hockey in Edinburgh for many years having been an avid photographer at Capitals games in years gone by. Now retired, Rob came on board as Equipment Manager and took to the job effortlessly last season.
John is a very familiar face around Murrayfield Ice Arena and no job is too much for him. He has been involved with the Caps for many years and will again be on hand through the season to help the team in any off-ice role needed.
These three guys bring a good feel factor to the locker room and as a club, we are delighted to have them back as part of the team once again for the upcoming 2023-24 SNL campaign.

Head Coach Steven Lynch knows the importance of a valued backroom staff if the team is to be successful. “I’m delighted that Jim, Rob, and John have agreed to be on board again for another season.

They have been valuable guys to have as part of the team, doing all sorts of various things and a strong backroom staff is just as important as the players on the ice.
Jim brings a wealth of experience to the team manager role with previous positions he has held in hockey. Rob works tirelessly behind the scenes and John does about 101 jobs be it for the rink or the team. These guys make the club better by being around it.”
