Good evening Caps fans and welcome to tonight’s game where we take on Paisley Pirates in what will mark the halfway point of the league season.
It’s been a good first half of the year. We currently sit top of the Northern League after 5 games, have advanced to the next round of the Scottish Cup, and are in a good position in the league if we win our games in hand on those above us. The team, as always is working hard week in, week out and is determined to continue to win games and end the season where we all want to be.
As always, your great support is welcomed, appreciated and does not go unnoticed. It’s been great to see you all return to Murrayfield for every game, support us on the road, and hear of new fans coming to see what we’re all about too. The attendances continue to be high which can only mean that you like what you are seeing out on the ice which is a team full of local talent giving their all for each other and for you every time they pull on the jersey.
Hopefully, we can get two more vital points tonight against a team that can be difficult to play against and always brings their best to Murrayfield. We will all then take a few days off to enjoy Xmas, then start to prepare for our Hogmanay game against North Ayr. Last year’s game was a great atmosphere and a great way to start the New Year celebrations so make sure you’ve got your tickets for that one too!!
