Cammy G Is In For The New Season

05/08/2025

Edinburgh Capitals are delighted to announce the re-signing of forward Cameron Gallagher for the 2025-2026 SNL campaign.

21 year old Cammy will be back for his 4th season at the club, having stepped up from Murrayfield Juniors back in 2022. In his three campaigns so far here, playing in the Lion’s Den he has iced in 80 games, scoring 2 goals and picking up 9 assists for 11 points.

Last term he picked up his first two goals for the club when he hit the net against Kilmarnock Thunder both home and away. He will be looking to build on that this upcoming campaign and take any opportunities that come his way.

Cammy recently represented Great Britain at the U23 Ball Hockey World Championships in the Czech Republic. He was part of history as GB would win their first ever senior game in the tournament.

On returning for another year Cammy had this to say, “I am really excited to be back playing for the Edinburgh Capitals this coming year.

“I can’t wait to play in front for our amazing fan base once again. They are by far the best in the league and make it fun to be out there on the ice in the Lion’s Den.
I’m looking forward to being back with all the guys and hopefully we can grab some silverware this season.”

Assistant Coach Chad Smith is happy to have Cammy back onboard, “Cammy has progressed a lot since his first year as a Cap, his work ethic and eagerness to learn is incredibly good.

“He stepped up last season when he was needed and showed that he can hold his own at this level. Lynchy and I are hoping that his development can continue this season and we see him continue to grow. We are sure Cammy will be ready once again to step up when called upon.”

Stay tuned for the final signings Caps fans.
