Imagine skating out in front of a packed Lion’s Den as the Edinburgh Capitals prepare to go to battle with their opponents.
Edinburgh Capitals are delighted to offer our Matchday Mascot Package for the 2026-2027 SNL season. This unforgettable experience gives you the chance to meet the team in the locker room, stand on the players’ bench during warm-ups (helmet and face guard required – these can be provided), and take to the ice before the opening face-off alongside your favourite Capitals player.
For just £110, the package includes admission to the game for one adult and one child, and mascots can be of any age.
Your Matchday Experience
As a Capitals mascot, you and your guest will enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at Murrayfield Ice Arena, including:
Meeting the players in the locker room.
Taking photos with the team before the game.
Standing on the team bench during warm-ups.
Skating or walking through the iconic Lion Tunnel onto the Murrayfield ice.
As the lights dim and the atmosphere builds, you’ll skate onto the ice with the player of your choice for the opening face-off. You’ll then join the team huddle for fist bumps as the boys prepare for game time.
To make the experience even more memorable, your name will be announced to the crowd, your photo on our giant screen and photos from your special day will be shared across the club’s social media channels.
Important Information
All mascots must wear a helmet while on the ice or bench.
Anyone under the age of 21 must wear a helmet with a full face guard.
Helmets can be provided if required.
If you choose the walk-on package, no hockey equipment is needed—just a helmet.
Mascot packages are available on a first-come, first-served basis for every Edinburgh Capitals home game and can now be purchased through the Capitals Fanbase App.
